Super J Pole - 2 Meter Antenna Construction 144mhz-148mhz:

Here is a simple Javascript calculator for determining the lengths of tubing to be used for the construction of a Super J-Pole Collinear Design. (Note: It is always good practice to use an Antenna Analyzer when building a custom antenna!)

Type in the Desired Frequency, Then Click "Calculate"

This Antenna, was tuned for 147mhz. When an Antenna Analyzer was hooked to this, it showed 1.0 for a good portion between 146mhz-148mhz at 50 ohms! The rest of the band was 1.1-1.3 meaning it could be used for the rest of the band.

Construction is easy. All of the parts were purchased at Home Depot or Lowes.
(Except for the SO-239 Adapter and the wire!)
